Started Up Again
Tuesday, September 6th, 2005So I finished my internship at NASA. The entire summer was a blast. I got to visit Goddard Space Flight Center, Johnson Space Center, MIT’s computer science and artificial intelligence lab, Carnegie Mellon University’s robotics facilities and University of Maryland’s Space Systems Lab. I got to meet many of the top roboticists working at NASA and got to see many of the robots themselves. In addition, I did lots of sightseeing in Washington DC and I went up to New York City for a weekend. Between that, chasing a girl, and work, it was a busy summer.
I worked through the NASA Robotics Internship program at a small company called AnthroTronix. I worked with a group of 3 other people to design and build a robot, and I got paid for it. There are pictures posted here, the official website is here.
But now that’s over. I am back at Montana State. I am taking a full course load of 19 credits: Circuits I, Introduction to Logic Circuits, Discrete Mathmatics, Differential Equations and General and Modern Physics II. Those classes should keep me plenty busy. Last Saturday, I went on a hike up Sacajawea peak (9665ft - the highest in the Bridgers) with some friends. Pictures will be coming soon. I am planning on going camping this weekend up at Hyalite canyon.
And time marches on…
